Production Statistics
2010 provide a bit more favorable conditions for tire manufacturers in comparison with previous year. Tire production in Russia for the period of eight months of the year 2010 has increased by 28.2% as compared to the same period of previous year. This translates into the production increase by as much as 3889.797 thousand tires more than in previous year.
Truck tire segment saw the increase of 116.6% (+429.717 thousand tires) for eight months of 2010. If we compare the figures for August 2010 with figures for August 2009, we will see a more significant increase – production of truck tires in the country has increased by as much as 70% (+214.312 thousand tires).
The dynamics of ATP for August 2010, as compared to August 2009, is 111.2%.
Light truck tire segment in the RF has seen the increase of 113.3% (+281,422 thousand tires) from the year beginning, while these figures for the same period of 2009 were a bit less – 96.5% (-12.745 thousand tires). The increase of tire production of this segment in ATP for August 2010, as compared to the same period of previous year, has made 18.8%. Company’s market share has increased by 2.1%.
Agricultural tire segment has seen the increase of production for eight months of 2010 by 24.7% (+181.86 thousand tires). If compared to the same period of previous year the increase has made 20.4% (+20.206 thousand tires). Production of this tire segment for August 2010 in ATP in comparison with the same period of previous year has increased by 16.9%.
According to the results of eight months of 2010 shares of ATP in this market segments are as follows:
Agricultural tires – 22.5%
Light truck tires – 10.4%
Truck tires – 8.6%
Motor car tires – 1.9%
