Altai Tyre Plant Produced New Tire for Trucks
On the 28th of November trial tire Forward Traction 310 with standard size of 12.00R20 was produced in vulcanization workshop of the plant.
Tire model Forward Traction 310 with standard size of 12.00R20 is manufactured in reinforced version with ply rating of 18. The tire with increased lift capacity is designed for tipper trucks and truck tractors KamAZ-6520, 65225, 65226; Iveco-330-30; MAZ-63170, 63030, 63035; «Ural»-6364, 6365, «Ural»-6364; 6365, «Ural-Iveco» -5531.
Universal tread pattern of the tire consists of five rows of diamond-shape squares formed by wavy edges. Two outer rows of squares extend to side of the tire, making spurs, while squares of middle row are connected by narrow ring ledge on the entire circle of tire.
Diametrical cut of tread elements provides excellent tire road grip. Wavy longitudinal and diametrical grooves provide water and liquid dirt removal from the contact zone. Wear resistance of the tire is increased due to the presence of wide grooves at the edge of the tread. They decrease heat buildup in the corner area of the tread, which is most exposed to heating while in use.
